About Me

House Sitting & Dog Sitting

House Sitting & Dog Sitting is a weekend hobby that allows me to get a staycation, play with your dogs, work remotely, and still see my family and friends.

  • Experience:

My 20 years of dog sitting, has grown from a part time job in my teens to a leisure activity in my adult life.
  • Professionally:

I'm a web developer & web designer working for a major tech company. My industry is ripe with animal lovers like myself.
  • Personally:

I'm very family-oriented: I like to visit with family for Chiefs games, holidays, or any gathering.

  • Recreationally:

I prefer to stay active: I like to jog, hike, cycle, box, play soccer and workout in a gym, preferably lifting weights.

  • Preferentially:

I love sports, westerns, comedies, and contemplative science fiction.  I enjoy puzzles, going to pub trivia, live music and live sports (mostly NFL).

  • Creatively:

I'm creative minded:  I'm a creative writer who studied poetry at the University of Iowa Writer's Workshop.  I like playing piano and am teaching myself electric guitar.

  • Why Sitting?

House Sitting and Pet Sitting, for me, provides a unique opportunity to enjoy your dogs like they are my own.

  • Why Dogs?

Sitting allows me to learn and play off your dog's personality and discover nuances about differing breeds that grow my own personality, interests and talking points for both my social and professional life.

  • Why Lee's Summit?

In 2020, I moved from Denver, CO to Phoenix, AZ to help out a childhood friend who became a widower.  In 2022, I moved back to Lee's Summit, MO to be around family.
